ABOUT
ME
PRODUCING THE IMPOSSIBLE
I am a Media Production Co-ordinator with a particular interest in the heritage and environmental sectors. Confident, capable and committed, I am in constant pursuit of the highest standards in every project I undertake. My own ambitions include introducing people to nature on their doorstep, learning to live a more sustainable life and leaving the world in a better place than I found it - and maybe getting up close to a duck-billed platypus!
Prior to my time at university, I spent several years working in the creative and cultural sector of the West Midlands.
I produced a version of Benjamin Britten’s community opera Noye’s Fludde for a local arts festival, before joining
the team at Work in Progress – a Birmingham-based company that delivered an exciting range of youth-led arts projects.

In 2017 I enrolled onto the Wildlife Media BA course at the University of Cumbria where I thoroughly enjoyed learning about media theory, natural history and practical media work. I was a founding member of the UoC Wildlife Society and sat on the committee – helping to shape and direct the rewilding projects on the Brampton Road Campus. I regularly represented both the Wildlife Society and the Wildlife Media course for local newspaper, television and radio outlets. I graduated from the course in 2021 with a first.

Whilst at university, I also worked on a number of projects in the local community. I produced a video for the Carlisle Remembers event in 2018, and contributed to the online lecture series for the Carlisle Natural History Society in 2020. I have also been involved with the BBC’s Planet North programme, championing the county’s environmental issues. I built on these experiences at my first job as the Assistant Young People Producer at Tullie - which included developing an exhibition about the climate and biodiversity crises

I am now the Media Production Coordinator for The Tank Museum in Dorset. In this role my producing experience, attention to detail and love for spreadsheets have really come into their own, and I help a talented and creative team produce regular content for the museum's YouTube channel - the largest of any museum in the world! It's the dream job really - I get to make films and play with tanks (and occasionally use a bazooka). As well as all this, I still find the time to play various instruments, sing, read and enjoy the great outdoors.

Despite my busy schedule, I’m always on the lookout for other projects to get involved with. If you're interested in working with me, why don't you drop me an email?
